Private Coaching: Singles, Doubles, Pairs

If you would like to improve your rowing technique, you can sign up for private lessons with Swan Creek coaches. SCRC continues to uphold the tradition and mission of teaching anyone who wants to learn to row. We offer the traditional flexibility of athletes choosing their coach, coach preferences, and athlete/ coach scheduling to access private coaching and uphold the mission of teaching those who want to learn. In private lessons, athletes will receive personalized instructions from an experienced coach.

Private lessons will have a coach to athlete ratio of 1 to 1 or 1 to 2 and a coach to boat ratio of 1 to 1 or 1 to 2. The following scenarios of private coaching are permitted:

Lessons will be scheduled at agreed upon times between the athlete and coach. Private lessons may occur only outside of SCRC practices to avoid launch conflicts, unless receiving prior permission from the boat captain.

Coaches will use iCrew to reserve equipment including boats, oars, and launches. Lessons available in club or private equipment.
