The Men’s Racing Team would like to formally invite SCRC Members to join our workouts. Our goals are lofty and our workouts intense. However, we have fun and are poised to make a big impact on the Master’s Rowing World this year. There is still time to get in shape and be a part of our squad.
- Tues 6:15 pm (with coaching)
- Sat 7:30 am (with coaching)
- Sunday 7:00 am (no coaching)
There are also land training opportunities separate from on-the-water workouts.
We are very flexible and understand you have work and family obligations. We will work around your schedule as much as possible (if you can only make one workout a week – we will work with that; if you want to do all there – GREAT, you might make the top 8+). We have athletes as young as 21 yrs old and up to 55-ish. We have both light weights and heavy weights, monsters on the erg and beautiful technicians. There is a place for almost everyone.
Expect to row sweep and scull. We participate in sprints, head races and even marathons. Our goals are to win big and celebrate big. We only ask that you work hard, be coachable, and play hard (oh, and be ready to receive A LOT of e-mails).
