Youth Learn-to-Row Camps

The camps are open to all boys and girls in 6th to 11th grade (7th and 12th grade during the 2025-2026 school year). 

  • No prior experience necessary.
  • This is an intensive clinic designed to prepare youth for competing.
  • No makeup practices are offered if canceled due to inclement weather or poor river conditions
  • Attending a LTR clinic does not guarantee a place on the youth team.
  • Refund requests will be honored up to 4 weeks before the program starts. After this point, refund requests will not be allowed.
  • Swimming ability is required.
  • Rowing attire is close-fitting shorts or pants and a t-shirt; additional layers depending on weather; gym shoes for land sessions; water sandals for walking in the water for launching and returning; socks for in the boat.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs above your head and carry it uphill for 50 yards.

Please Note: We do not offer a spring learn-to-row session. If you wish to row in the spring, you must complete the winter training.

Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM
These sessions are designed for off-the-water training and will be incorporated into our existing team training.  On-the-water training will start April 1, 2026, and will incur additional fees.
