Seven youth represented Swan Creek at the Mainline Slide at Villanova University last weekend and produced some excellent results and smashed PRs. All competed in the Junior category, 3 women and 4 men.

Junior Women

Mackenzie King 2nd 7:27:7
Kelly Fischer 28th 7:57:4
Abigail Pearson 83rd 8:48:7

All three ladies recorded PRs and this was Abigail’s second ever 2k. Mackenzie’s time is quicker than the minimum guideline time for U18 US national team program participation. Wow Mack! Fantastic effort ladies.

Junior Men

This was the second 2k for David and Josh. Jordan’s time is 2 seconds shy of the U18 US national team standard. Great results amongst a very competitive field.

David and Zoey Jopling are competing on Saturday 15th at Center City Slam, Mackenzie and Jordan are competing at C.R.A.S.H. Bs on Sunday 16th. The very best of luck to our youth athletes. I will post their results ASAP. Go Swan Creek!
