The 9/11 Heroes Run (Doylestown), sponsored by the Travis Manion Foundation, is on September 27. Help raise awareness and honor the fallen. Swan Creek Rowing will be running the 5K as a team. This is a great team building event as well as an excellent way to honor our military, veterans, first responders, and their families.

Time: The ceremony starts at 1, 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 1:45, and the 5K starts at 2.

The registration is attached. Families and siblings are welcome to join. The race is $20 per person and $10 for 13&under. The team name is “Swan Creek Rowing Club“. Please sign up on the provided form; if you sign up online, you won’t be registered with the team (or receive the discounted rate of $20).

Also, we can get special team shirts made to wear on race day with Swan Creek logo, etc. We think the t-shirts will cost $10, but do not know for sure as the cost is determined by how many we order. Remaining money will be donated in Swan Creek’s name to the Foundation.

Rowers can give me the form(s) and money Monday (9/14) or Wednesday (9/16). To guarantee our 9/11 Heroes Run race shirts and ensure our Swan Creek race shirts arrive on time, the deadline is Wednesday. No need to worry about packet pick-up, I will bring all of the shirts, race packets, bibs, etc. to practice before the race.
