We have a new rack for our growing fleet! You may have noticed a new 4-/4x rack in the back of the boat site where the kayaks used to be located. The rack was designed and built by Matt Jezyk and now properly holds this class of boat that did not fit well on our existing racks. SCRC thanks Matt for building this rack, as well as the other racks at the site.

The Club was able to acquire a much needed replacement for the existing Kaschper 8, which the club will now use for the SCRC Learn to Row programs and Team Builders. The Youth Program assisted with the purchase by contributing $5,000 toward the purchase of our newest boat. Members of our Youth Program and their families are able to assist the club with such purchases by conducting their own fundraising events such as the Erg-a-Thon. SCRC is grateful for their help in providing the teams with a more suitable racing boat this year!
