You will notice a big pile of wood chips near the sign-in cabinet. We need everyone to pitch in to get them spread. There are also a wheelbarrow, shovels and a rake there. The next time that you row, please spread a few wheelbarrows of chips. Look for spots that are bare and spread some. If everyone does a bit, it will get done quickly.
NAVIGATION AND SAFETY
Water levels are dropping back to summer levels. The rocks are poking above the surface. Please heed the message below.
This morning, I noticed one end of a telephone pole poking above the water on the PA side of the upstream turnaround.
