A year has passed since we lost our good friend, teammate and Club member Nancy Beadle. In memory of Nancy, Tom Beadle and family in partnership with the Delaware River Recreation Foundation are pleased to announce The Nancy Beadle Memorial Scholarship.

 

This scholarship is given in loving memory of Nancy Beadle. Nancy loved rowing with the Swan Creek Rowing Club. She felt it was an honor, a humbling experience, exciting and rewarding to be part of a Club and team that invested in themselves and others. Nancy was always impressed by the hard work and contributions the youth did for SCRC. To that end, this scholarship is to be awarded to a graduating senior member of Swan Creek Rowing Club’s Youth Program who embodies these attributes.

 

Due to the generosity of the Beadle Family, this annual scholarship award will be funded for the next 15 years. The members of the SCRC family & the Delaware River Recreation Foundation would like to thank Tom and his family for providing the scholarship as a way to honor Nancy and to keep alive the energy and spirit she brought to the Rowing Club.

 

The Delaware River Recreation Foundation with the help of Coach Min will notify the eligible senior class members regarding how to apply and the associated application.
