Introducing the Brown Flag

A new addition to our set of warning flags (red, no rowing; yellow; no novices/youth; blue, cold water) is the brown flag. The brown flag indicates water levels are dangerously low. Levels are at the point where large boats are at risk for damage. The brown flag will be posted when levels are below 8.5 feet on the Trenton gauge. When the brown flag is posted, heavyweight eights should not go out.
