Alert: River Hazard

sunkboat1We have received word from the Eagle Fire Co. of a partially sunk boat on the PA. side of the river (off of a Ferry Street Landing), about 25 feet from shore. The boat could move into our downstream rowing lanes if the current shifts. The ownership of this boat is not known and it could be in the river when club members resume rowing once the water temp rises above 45 degrees. The fire company will mark this hazard so it is more visible.

Please look for this hazard during your down river row.

Thanks!
