Regarding fisherman under the free bridge: At this time of year there are typically a number of fishing boats anchored under the openings of the free bridge, usually under the 2nd and 3rd arch from the New Hope side. Each boat has a number of fishing lines deployed.
Although our traffic pattern requires us to use the three Pennsylvania arches on the downstream leg, when safety permits try to avoid the arches with stationary fishing boats as this disrupts fishing activity.
