Dec 30th 5K to Raise Money for Victims of Sandy Hook Shootings

Please see the below message from Council Rock School District regarding a fund raiser for Sandy Hook.  I think it would be great if we showed up with SCRC gear in support.   I have no words to express my feelings about the events.  However, we can as a group – show our support to the families and communities of Sandy Hook, CT.
 
 
Benjamin Wheeler Memorial 5KBenjamin Wheeler is a Newtown, Connecticut student who lost his life at Sandy Hook Elementary School.  Benjamin’s mother was an alumnus of Council Rock North.  Current and past members of the CR North Cross Country Team are raising funds for the Wheeler family by sponsoring a 5K race in Benjamin’s memory.The race will be held at Council Rock North on Sunday, December 30th, with activities starting at 9am.  The registration flyer for the Benjamin Wheeler 5K appears at this LINK.
